Timo sez: I have owned and read hundreds of books about cuisine since I changed careers to become a cook, seems like centuries ago – and there are many more out there that I have never seen. But when my friends ask me what books are not to be missed, I invariably mention these two: Great Chefs of France, which was a great source of inspiration – it led me to contact several Michelin 3-star chefs, which resulted in my spending several weeks in one of France's best kitchens, learning from the best cooks I have eve met. I remember the Julia Child book as the one I consulted the most when I had questions. You should at least point to the links below and check them out.
